GS441524 Injection Operation Guide

  • Injection Route: Strictly adopt subcutaneous injection, mainly choose the loose skin on the cat's neck or back, avoid intramuscular or intravenous injection.
  • Injection Frequency: Once every 24 hours at a fixed time, maintain continuous and stable drug blood concentration, do not miss or delay medication.
  • Pre-operation Preparation: Disinfect the injection site with alcohol cotton pads before injection; confirm the calculated dosage and extract the accurate liquid volume with a sterile syringe.
  • Injection Technique: Pinch up the loose skin to form a subcutaneous pouch, insert the needle gently, push the liquid slowly, and pull out the needle steadily after injection.
  • Routine Treatment: Slight local swelling is normal and will subside naturally within 1-3 days; avoid repeated injection at the same position continuously.
  • Treatment Course: The minimum standard treatment course is 12 weeks (84 days). Do not stop medication in advance even if symptoms disappear completely to prevent recurrence.
Important Note: Adjust dosage dynamically according to the cat's weight change (weigh weekly). Neurological and ocular FIP with severe symptoms can appropriately increase dosage under professional veterinary guidance.
